Mobile web studies undertaken in 2008 confirm the dominance of social networking in the mobile web – where we have huge amounts of (mostly tagged) user-generated content (UGC) that call for appropriate methods for retrieval and highly interactive user interfaces. Unfortunately, existing mobile (social) web applications are less interactive and do rarely exploit user-provided tags or the user’s context for improving mobile interaction with such data.
